Perfect PDF 6 Professional

Perfect PDF 6 Professional provides all the features of Perfect PDF 6 Premium, with the exception of the ability to import metadata from MS Office documents. Conversion of MS Office files to PDFs is still supported.

Perfect PDF 6 Editor

Edit any PDF file. No restrictions. With the powerful, user-friendly page editor, you can edit all of a given page’s content, not just the text and images. In addition, you can create completely new documents.

Perfect PDF 6 Editor provides a wide range of annotation tools. You can create new comments or modify existing ones, including their design. What’s more, you can also design and create PDF forms, as well as modify existing forms. And of course, you can fill out, print, save and submit PDF forms. You can even digitally sign PDF documents.

When editing a PDF, you can rearrange the document structure (insert, move, remove, resize and rotate pages). Enhance the design of your documents using galleries of watermarks, stamps, backgrounds and much more. You can create completely new PDF documents or create documents from existing text or image files and insert pages from image files or scanned images. A range of file formats and format conversions are available: XPS to PDF, PDF to XPS or PDF to PDF/A.

Perfect PDF 6 Editor does have its limits, though. Creation of PDFs from printable files or from MS Office files is not enabled. A virtual printer is not included and there is no integration into Windows Explorer, Microsoft Office or Internet Explorer. If you need these features, one of the other members of the Perfect PDF 6 family will be the right fit for you.

Perfect PDF 6 Commentator

If you need to annotate PDF documents, you need Perfect PDF 6 Commentator. It offers a wide range of annotation tools for your comments: text markup, replace and insert tools, sticky notes, textboxes and callouts, pencil ("Red Pen") and eraser tools, stamp and watermark galleries, different shapes (lines, rectangles, circles, polygons, arrows and clouds) and media annotations (audio and video). You can create new annotations or modify existing comments, including their design.

Additionally, you can use Perfect PDF 6 Commentator to design PDF forms, create your own forms or modify existing PDF forms (text edit fields, buttons, checkboxes and radio buttons, combo boxes and list boxes). The program provides many user-friendly form layout functions allowing you to be flexible when deciding on the style of your form fields. And of course, you can also fill out, print, save or submit PDF forms. You can even digitally sign PDF documents.

And also you can rearrange the document structure (insert, move, remove, resize and rotate pages) and enhance the design of your documents using galleries of watermarks, stamps, backgrounds and much more. You can create PDF documents from text or image files and insert pages from image files or scanned images.

Perfect PDF 6 Commentator does not permit the creation of PDFs from other file formats. Editing the content of PDF documents is also not possible. If you need these features, then you need Perfect PDF 6 Premium.

Perfect PDF 6 Office

A helpful extension of Microsoft Office. You’ll need to have at least one of the following Office products installed on your PC: Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Outlook. Perfect PDF 6 Office converts Microsoft Office files and documents into PDFs, including metadata. That means that the links, tables of contents, bookmarks, form fields and controls, comments and indexes of your Office documents will also be present and functional in the resulting PDF.

Of course, you can save PDF files directly from within your Office application (Office 2010 or 2007 only), but you will lose nearly all the metadata and your PDFs will contain only the visible content and links found in the original Office file.

Perfect PDF 6 Office includes a PDF program that allows you to view, print and sign PDF files. It also lets you rearrange the document structure (insert, move, remove, resize and rotate pages), and to design PDF documents using galleries of watermarks, stamps, backgrounds and much more. You can create PDF documents from text or image files and insert pages from image files or scanned images. However, you cannot create PDFs using the print to PDF feature in other applications. Only the Office formats mentioned above are supported. Commenting and editing page content are not supported but are possible using the other members of the Perfect PDF 6 family.

Perfect PDF 6 Converter

Converts any printable file into a PDF. Perfect PDF 6 Converter includes integration into Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer and into the core Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. From within these applications, you can generate PDF files with just one click. You can also convert documents from other applications using the print to PDF function. Importation of MS Office metadata is not supported in this edition. If you need it, it is available in the Premium and Office editions of Perfect PDF 6.

Perfect PDF 6 Converter includes a PDF program allowing you to view, print and sign PDF files. It also enables you to rearrange document structure (insert, move, remove, resize and rotate pages), and to design PDF documents using galleries of watermarks, stamps, backgrounds and much more. You can create PDF documents from text or image files and insert pages from image files or scanned images. Annotating PDF documents and adding or modifying comments is not supported, not is editing the content of PDF documents.
